  • Why do you have a FAQ section?
    Because you all will ask these questions, even though some of you already know the answers. You know who you are. This is entirely meant in jest! We want to make sure you're crystal clear on everything you may need to know in advance :) If your question is not answered here, please contact Carrington and Kat.
  • What is the attire for the wedding?
    This wedding is black tie optional! We're asking for your semi-formal to formal best. We understand that not everyone owns a tux or an evening gown (we sure don't). So your dark colored suit, and cocktail or evening dress will do!
  • Are you asking guests to wear a specific color or color palette?
    Though we are not asking for a specific color, we'd appreciate neutral tones or dark colors where possible! If you don't have that in your closet, don't go shopping on our behalf!
  • Are kids allowed?
    Yes. However, please note this is an evening wedding. Our bar will be open and music may be explicit. Please make the best decision for your family based on this information. A kids meal is also provided for dinner.
  • Can I bring a date/plus one?
    Your invitation listed who was invited and accounted for. Please use that to determine if you are eligible for a plus one. For example: Mr. Carrington Kinsey = Just Carrington, no plus one Mr. Carrington Kinsey & Ms. Kathryn Williams = Carrington and Kat Mr. Carrington Kinsey & Guest = Carrington and a guest of his choice Mr. Carrington Kinsey & Family = This would be his immediate household (including kids if he had them) If this is not clear and you have further questions, please contact Carrington or Kat!
  • Can I use my phone/take pictures during the ceremony?
    We'd ask that respectfully for us and our photographer, you do not use your phone or take video or photos during the ceremony. Our photography team will be taking photos the entire night! If you'd like any photos shared with you after we receive them, please reach out!
  • Can we make song requests at the reception?
    This is at the discretion our our wonderful DJ. If he says, "no," please respect his decisions. Our DJ has worked hard with us to curate a specific playlist that you all will enjoy!
  • Is there parking at the venue? Is there transportation to the hotel?
    Yes, and it is free! We have designated parking for the event at the venue. See the below map. Upon arrival, let the parking attendants know you're here for the Kinsey wedding! Please note, there is no shuttle service from the hotel. Please plan you transportation accordingly (and always drink responsibly if you do plan to drive).
  • Are you accommodating dietary restrictions?
    Yes! All dinner options are gluten free and there is a Vegan/Vegetarian/Gluten Free option as well. During cocktail hour and dinner, a Gluten Free or Vegan option is almost always available. Our wedding cake is NOT gluten free or vegan. If you need any other special accommodations, ensure you listed that in your digital RSVP. If you did not, please contact Carrington or Kat!
  • Can I smoke/vape at the venue?
    No. Please plan accordingly if you are a smoker.
  • Is the venue indoors?
    Yes and no! The only time you will spend outside is the cocktail hour, but you will not be required to walk on grass or uneven terrain! All other activities are indoors.
  • Will I have to travel far between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception?
    No :) We've kept everything centralized to Armature works! Minimal walking is required.
  • Will this be an ADA accessible event?
    Yes! There is space if you require a wheelchair or motorized assistant, and elevator access to the reception!
  • Do you have a registry?
    Yes! It's located here on the website. Click the "Registry" link. You will notice that monetary gifts (including gift cards) are listed to go toward the honeymoon. Traditional registries, and donations to charities of the bride and groom's choice are also listed. Carrington and Kathryn thank you in advance for any way you prefer to celebrate them.
  • I'd like to gift something that is not listed on the registry page. Can I do that?
    Of course. Carrington and Kathryn thank you in advance for any way you prefer to celebrate them.
  • Are you doing a bouquet or garter toss?
    No, and no! Instead, another activity will take place. Stay tuned!
  • Did I see correctly that there are groomswomen?
    Yes! The bride and groom firmly believe that who stands up for you should be your closest family or friends, regardless of gender! Thank you for respecting this choice.
  • Before I RSVP, what are the specifics of the menu options?
    *NOTE - please ensure you list all dietary restrictions in the RSVP. Substitutions can be made to almost all recipes to accommodate your restriction. Please contact. us if you have any questions.   • I already RSVP'd, but one of the other menu options sound good...can I switch it up?
    Sure! Please reach out and let us know what you'd like to switch your entree to.
  • Is there anything else I should know?
    Though this day is about the bride and groom, it's important that you have a great time and feel safe! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
